Hello!

I’m MaryAnn, aka MaryAnn Reynolds, LMT, RCST®, BCTMB…licensed massage therapist, registered biodynamic craniosacral therapist, board certified in therapeutic massage and bodywork

Welcome!

I specialize in two types of bodywork: Craniosacral Biodynamics and TMJD Relief.

Craniosacral Biodynamics (Biodynamic Bodywork, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, or BCST) is gentle, nurturing type of bodywork that works from the inside out, balancing your nervous system, reducing pain and dysfunction, and helping relieve many issues, including and beyond the body’s craniosacral system.

See Reasons Clients Have Sought Craniosacral Biodynamics for examples. If you’re still wondering if it can help with your issues, please schedule a free discovery call.

I’m offering a new client special (new to me or to Craniosacral Biodynamics) so you can explore this modality and experience its benefits: three 50-minute sessions for $333 or three 80-minute sessions for $450.

I encourage my clients to check in before and after each session and several times for three days after, paying attention to what feels different. You may notice your system feeling a bit reorganized in a lighter, easier, more congruent way in which everything is working better.

If you’ve been very stressed for a long time, it may feel a bit strange — I encourage you to slow down and enjoy it!

Regular sessions over time can help train your system into a more balanced state of wellness.

In my TMJD  Relief sessions, I integrate several bodywork modalities, including BCST, CranioSacral therapy, massage, myofascial release, and Zero Balancing, to relieve issues with the jaws relating to muscle tension, both from stress and clenching and/or grinding habits. These sessions are 80 minutes.

I can also refer you to an experienced physical therapist if you also have airway, apnea, tongue-tie, or other orofacial or myofunctional issues.

TMJD Relief sessions include releasing tension in your neck and external jaw muscles and intraoral work to release tension in your internal jaw muscles. I use medical gloves and provide mouthwash for hygiene. I also run an air filter at all times.

I observe you carefully to avoid as much discomfort as possible while releasing tension from your internal jaw muscles, some of which may never have been touched before.

I’ll ask you to take your mouth for a test drive while you are still on the table so you can notice the before-and-after difference.

In the case of chronic jaw tension, you may need more than one session. Subsequent TMJD Relief sessions can address alignment of your cranial bones, facial bones (including the upper palate), vertebrae, and more.

After releasing your jaw tension, it is a great time to focus on changing the habits that contributed to it in the first place. If you request it, I can email you handouts with links to jaw exercises on YouTube and instructions for changing the daytime clenching habit that you can practice on your own.

I’m offering my first Zoom class to replace the clenching habit with a more relaxed way to hold your mouth. Email me if you want to be notified when I offer it again: I’m mareynolds27@gmail.com.

If chronic stress is still contributing to your tension after TMJD Relief sessions, I recommend scheduling Craniosacral Biodynamics sessions to invite your autonomic nervous system to reset into a state of more ease.

I am available for both types of sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in West Lake Hills/Austin, and on Thursdays in Wimberley.

If you have questions, please schedule a free 15-minute discovery call. I’d love to hear your concerns and understand your issues, and together we can determine if my skills are a good fit for your needs.

Craniosacral Biodynamics training

The Austin foundation training in Craniosacral Biodynamics, provided by the Wellness Institute, is underway. The next two-year foundation training will likely start in late 2028. If you would like to be added to my email list for that training, please email me at mareynolds27@gmail.com.

Function Health, SuppCo, and FullScript

If you’re serious about improving your overall health and well-being, as I am, these three offerings can help you get an evidence-based overview of your health, make sure you’re choosing high quality supplements for your specific issues, and order them for home delivery at a 25% discount over retail.

Function Health is a membership program that you can join on an annual basis, get lab tests, and see the results for over 100 biomarkers.

Use this link to my referral program to receive $25 credit toward your membership of $365 per year, just $1 a day toward improved health. As a health care service provider, I do not receive a referral fee.

A few days after your blood draw, you will start receiving results. When all the testing is complete, you’ll receive an overview from a clinician. You’ll get explanations of your biomarkers, including a graphic of each one over time if you continue with Function Health, showing whether you are above, in, or below the normal range for health.

Function Health will also calculate your biological age, which may vary from your chronological age.

You’ll get recommendations for improving your health through lists of foods to enjoy or limit and recommendations for supplements.

You can test again a few months later to see changes. This second test is included in the annual fee. You can pay extra for other tests, including a full body MRI, currently $899.

I got a lot of good news from my test results and identified a few areas that need attention that I would not have known about otherwise.

SuppCo is an app that evaluates supplements, which are not regulated, for quality, value, alignment with your health goals, and dosage. It costs $39, but if you take supplements, it’s worth it, because cheapest in price is often poorest in quality. Function Health recently bought SuppCo.

Ordering the recommended supplements: You can use my Fullscript online discount program to save on the supplements recommended by Function Health (and any other supplements you need), offering you 25% off retail prices, with free shipping on orders over $50.

Click here to set up a free account. If you like, I can set up an account for you and offer you an additional 10% off your first order.
